Chadwick Bain, Head Golf Professional 

Chad turned professional in 1992 and completed his apprenticeship with the Canadian PGA in 1996.  He worked at the Country Club of Ashland in 1997 and then joined the Findlay Country Club Professional Staff mid-season in 1998.  In 1999 he was promoted to Head Professional and became of member of the PGA in 2000.  He now maintains memberships in both organizations and competes in both countries.  He took over the operation in 2005 with the departure of the Director of Golf.

Chad was named the Toledo Chapter Professional of the Year in 2004 and held the position of Chapter President from 2004-2006.  He sat on the Northern Ohio PGA Board of Directors during that time and was nominated for the Section Merchandiser of the Year in 2006.

Chad spends most of his time throughout the golf season on the lesson tee helping members with their golf game and equipment needs as well as organizing and over-seeing the member events and outings.  In the off-season Chad enjoys upland bird hunting and fly-fishing and is an avid skeet and sporting clays shooter.

 

Garrett Korte, Assistant Golf Professional

Garrett is a graduate of the University of Findlay with degrees in Business Management and Operations Management/Logistics with a minor in Finance.  While at U. of F. he lettered 3 years in golf. 

He was a Captain’s pick to participate in the 2007 Northern Ohio PGA Section Assistants Cup where he went 1-1-1.  He was also a semifinalist in the Toledo Chapter PGA Match Play Championship and Tied for 5th in the Taylor Made Adidas Assistants Championship. In 2006, Garrett passed the PGA of America’s Playing Ability Test by 14 strokes with rounds of 72-65-137.In high school, Garrett was a 4 year letter winner.  He was also 1st team Blanchard Valley Conference and Putnam County League in 2000 & 2001.  In 2001, he placed 30th at the Division III State Golf Meet; and was Blanchard Valley Conference Player of the Year.

 

Joe Mayberry, Assistant Golf Professional, Registered PGA Apprentice

Joe is a graduate of the University of Findlay with degrees in Business Management and Marketing with a minor in Finance. Joe has been with Findlay Country Club for six years in various levels of employment, both in the bag room and in the pro shop. While attending Columbus Grove High School he lettered three years in golf.

 

Ramse’ Cavender, Shop Manager

Ramse’ attends Bowling Green State University with a major in Telecommunications and Interpersonal Communications. She will be graduating in December of 2008 and plans to become­ a news anchor. At Bowling Green State University she is an active member of the Beta Mu Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta. While attending Covington High School she started the girls’ golf team and lettered in golf for three years.
